5-StarPerformance Store Policies

Our Policies:
We strive to keep our customers 100% satisfied with our service at all times. However, we do have to comply with many policies, procedures, & regulations of our own. So please read & understand our company policies before placing an order.

Legal Notice:
The products sold on 5-StarPerformance are not legal for "highway" usage unless noted otherwise. Please Check your local laws regarding such use in your state. We are not responsible for failure to comply with Local, State, or Federal laws regarding motor vehicles. We also recommend professional installation by a licensed mechanic for all products we sell.

Product Availability Statement:
All products on 5-StarPerformance are noted with a general shipping ETA in order to give you a good idea of when your order will ship out. However, Backorders, referrals, & other issues can, & do occur from time to time. Sometimes products do become discontinued as well. These instances are beyond our control, therefore we are not be resposible if this occurs. If your order will not be shipping out in the specified time frame noted on the website, you will be notified via email, or telephone. From there, we will hold the order until further notified by you (the customer) to either continue with the order despite the delay, or cancel the order. If we do not receive a response within 72 hours, we will cancel the order.

Return / Cancellation Policy:
All returns / cancellations are at the sole discretion of 5-StarPerformance. No returns, or cancellations are accepted once an order is shipped. We enforce this policy to keep from filling our shelve's with products that customers decided they didnt want, didnt like, or simply changed their mind about purchasing. We strive to be 100% accurate 100% of the time. But mistakes do happen. So if you receive a defective product, meaning: missing parts / not the item you ordered / wrong color / ect. You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will take the steps necessary to retrieve the defective item, & get you a replacement. Shipping Fee's are non-refundable when a product is being returned. Damaged products are explained below.

Sales Tax:
A 6% PA sales tax is in effect for customers purchasing products at our retail counter, as well as for residents of PA placing online orders. Customers who live outside of the state of PA are exempt from paying tax.

Shipping:
5-StarPerformance ships via UPS exclusively, unless it is a "freight item" i.e.- engine assembly, body panel, ect. We do not accept requests to ship using other providers for whatever reason. All orders will be shipped to the customers billing address only! We verify each & every order with an address verification system. If you provide us with a shipping address that is not verifiable, or does not match your billing address. We will cancel your order! If you need an order shipped to a place other then your billing address, you'll need to contact us ahead of time to provide us with the information necessary to verify that the address requested is an Authorized Shipping Address with your Credit Card company. Please note: If you do not contact us ahead of time to request a different shipping address, we reserve the right to ship directly to your billing address or cancel the order. Please understand we enforce this policy to protect our customers against fraud. We do not ship out of the United States,including Canada. If you live outside of the United States, & you place an order. Your order will be cancelled! Please understand, we enforce this policy simply because our Credit Card Verification System cannot verify a non U.S. Credit Card, or address. You can opt to pick-up your order if you live locally. If you would prefer to pick your order up, please call in before, or immediately after placing an order.

Chemicals are required to ship ground, no exceptions. If you select any express shipment for chemical products, we will credit the difference and ship the order ground.

Ground shipments do not carry a guarenteed time in transit and 5-StarPerformance cannot be held accountable for delays in transit.

If your item is damaged in transit, please notify UPS of the damage immediately, and then us. If the package arrive's in questionable condition, please open the item on the spot, & refuse the shipment if possible. A damage claim will be filed with UPS for your product, and once that claim is paid to us, we can re-issue the product. If you need an immediate replacement we will have charge your credit card for the full amount of the product, until we are reimbursed by UPS.

UPS picks up M-F daily. But please note that UPS does not pick up on holidays, nor the day before in cases like Christmas and New Years.

Tracking:
Tracking information is emailed directly to you as soon as the order is processed, packaged, & put out for the UPS driver. The email is sent to the customer supplied email address. Please allow approx 12 hours after receiving the email for the tracking information to process, before it will register correctly. The email will instruct you on how to track your shipment.

Pricing:
Prices are always subject to change without notice. Pricing errors are not the responsibility of 5-StarPerformance. If a pricing error occurs, we will either refund the transaction in full or give you the option to pay the correct price.

Price-Matching:
5-StarPerformance practices "price-matching". If you find an item advertised for less before placing your order, email us with a link directing us to the competitor & we'll meet, or beat the price.

Subaru Coupons "Subie Bucks":
5-StarPerformance does accept "Subie Bucks" for all Subaru related purchases.
To place an order using the coupons, you must follow this procedure: Alert us with an email that you will be sending coupons for a parts order & include basic info in your email (name, contact info, ect)
Please Note: The Coupons must be the origonals. No copies will be accepted.
Then send the coupons via Fedex, or UPS "letter" ONLY No USPS!

& include an itemized list of products you wish to order, along with your contact info (name, email, & phone #) & a shipping address. Be sure to provide alternate billing information if your order amount will exceed the coupon's value. From there, your order will be processed as normal.
